This trailer has been showing up in front of Avatar and aside from informing me that Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz are in some big budgeted action thriller with Mr. and Mrs. Smith aspirations, I have no idea what this is about. What I see isn’t particularly inspiring. James Mangold (Walk the Line, 3:10 to Yuma) is directing from a Patrick O’Neill script. Knight and Day features co-starring roles by Maggie Grace, Peter Sarsgaard, Paul Dano, Marc Blucas, Viola Davis and Olivier Martinez.
Knight and Day is set for release on July 2nd, 2010.
