The second trailer for Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island has been made available over at Apple or watch it below.
Scorsese directs from a script written by Laeta Kalogridis, based upon Dennis Lehane’s novel of the same name. Leonardo DiCaprio stars as a federal marshal brought to Shutter Island to find a dangerous escaped mental patient, but finds that there’s a whole lot more going on. Most notably, the film has an absolutely stacked supporting cast filled with Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Patricia Clarkson, Max von Sydow, Emily Mortimer, Jackie Earle Haley, Elias Koteas, John Carroll Lynch and Ted Levine. If that’s not a hell of a good cast, then I don’t know what is.
Shutter Island will hit theaters on February 19th.
