Showtime has already issued an order for a fourth season of Californication after the first episodes of season three saw significant ratings increases from the previous year. Expect season four to premiere September 2010 with David Duchovny, Natascha McElhone, Madeleine Martin, Evan Handler and Pamela Adlon returning. The current season is airing Sundays at 10pm and notably gives Duchovny’s Hank Moody a job as a college professor.
