The second track from Massive Attack’s upcoming EP Splitting the Atom has been released for listening through a few outlets. You can hear it over at Pitchfork or below via YouTube. “Pray for Rain” features vocals from Tunde Adebimpe, the lead singer for TV on the Radio. It’s another great song with lyrics that I particularly enjoy and a drumline I can’t get enough of. The track is actually making me want to check out TV on the Radio now, so Adebimpe has impressed me on this one.
Splitting the Atom will be released in the US on October 6th, with Massive Attack’s untitled 5th album scheduled for February.
