The third single from Fever Ray’s self-titled debut arrived a while ago but I just noticed today. “Triangle Walks” is accompanied by a video directed by Mikel Cee Karlsson. It’s not bad, but it’s probably the least interesting of the three videos created for Fever Ray thus far. Fever Ray is the solo work of Karin Dreijer Andersson,who also makes up half of The Knife and has had a few fantastic guest vocal spots for Röyksopp. The debut album is extremely good and will without a doubt make my top ten albums of 2009. It’s an atmospheric, sensual, dare I say cinematic 48 minutes of downtempo greatness with hints of savage mysticism. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.
