Our short national nightmare is over! Billy West, John DiMaggio, Katey Sagal, Maurice LaMarche and Tress MacNeille have all signed new deals to voice their characters on Futurama‘s television return. Fox had temporarily played hardball with the actors by hiring a casting director to audition possible replacements, but a compromise on the financial elements of the deals has been found. There are 26 new episodes scheduled to be produced for airing on Comedy Central and possibly one of the networks, but there is no deal on the latter. New Futurama will likely hit the air in the late summer or early fall of 2010.
