Tom Berenger is officially part of the cast for Christopher Nolan’s Inception. The photo to the left is of him around the set.
Hans Zimmer is also onboard to compose the film’s score. This is possibly the first news about the film that doesn’t please me. I really like the scores to Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, but Zimmer wasn’t alone on those. James Newton Howard was also composing. I haven’t been blown away by a solo Zimmer score since the earliest years of this decade or maybe even Gladiator. I would have been much more excited if Howard were collaborating again or if Nolan had picked David Julyan, who up until now had done Nolan’s non-Batman scores. Hopefully Nolan manages to pull something fresh out of Zimmer for a change.
Little has yet to be revealed about the plot, but we know Inception is a “a contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind” that also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Cillian Murphy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ken Watanabe and Tom Hardy. Michael Caine has a small role as well.
Inception will be released by Warner Bros on July 16th, 2010.
The director, Mr Nolan has done very well to include in his film “Inception,” as a great actor Tom Berenger.
For Me, Tom Berenger and Al Pacino are the best players in the world .
