Showtime has premiered a 3.5 minute trailer for the fourth season of Dexter. Dexter’s dealing with having an infant to look after who’s also keeping him from sleeping, which appears to impact both his professional and extracurricular activities. Meanwhile John Lithgow joins the cast as the Trinity Killer, an infamous serial killer who comes to Miami. Frank Lundy (Keith Carradine) returns to help hunt him down.
Showtime is also producing a twelve animated webisodes called Early Cuts that will jump before season one and show Dexter honing his skills.
Dexter returns to Showtime for season four on September 27th. Should be fun. I’m particularly excited to see what John Lithgow does with his role.
