As for the song itself, there’s a definite channeling of Queen going on as well as a heavy Arabian flair. Piano work also returns for Muse after taking a backseat on Black Holes and Revelations. The 45 seconds that kick off around the 3 minute mark are amazing.
Muse’s fifth LP, The Resistance, will be released on September 15th (14th in Europe). “Uprising” is scheduled to be the album’s first single and will drop the week before the album.
