Robin Williams is set to deliver HBO a new stand-up special in December, after he last made Live on Broadway in 2002. The new special will be called Weapons of Self-Destruction and will be filmed at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington D.C. in November.
I really loved Live on Broadway so if Robin Williams can come close to that, this will be great. I hope HBO clears the rights to any of the musical tunes Williams may work into his jokes since I noticed two bits were clipped out of the DVD release of Live on Broadway. It’d be nice to be able to own the uncut version of this one. Looking forward to December to see all the material Williams has put together over the last seven years.
