Here’s a trailer for the upcoming zombie massacre comedy Zombieland starring Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin. The four individuals have their own unique methods for surviving the zombie apocalypse and find themselves teamed up to better survive. Ruben Fleischer makes his directorial debut with a script by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.
I’d say it looks like decent fun. There’s a certain charm to Woody Harrelson enjoying the hell out of himself while downing zombies a dozen different ways. Plus the film doesn’t seem to be attempting to tread on Shaun of the Dead‘s satirical ground, so hopefully this can strike out on its own comedic path.
Zombieland is due out October 9th.
