We Fell to Earth has let it be known that their debut self-titled album is being released on July 13th in the UK. The band didn’t really provide any details other than a link for pre-ordering, so I have no idea if a North American release will follow the day after or if it’s even coming at all. We Fell to Earth is made up of Richard File, coming off a decade with UNKLE, and Wendy Rae Fowler. Their sound is fairly similar to UNKLE’s War Stories period, rock with electronic sensibilities although maybe more slow burning. Their MySpace page has five of the nine album tracks available for listening while their official site still has three of the tracks available for free download after debuting earlier in the year.
There’s also a music video using concert footage for “The Double”.
