Because seriously folks, there’s no good reason why we can’t get two amazing 3D Mario games in a single generation. Super Mario Galaxy was such pure fun I’d pay for new levels without any truly new features, but there’s already a few new goodies seen here. First off, Yoshi’s here and can be blown up like a balloon. There’s a drill that Mario uses to plow through planetoids now. This game is also not due until 2010. There’s not much to say except that if Super Mario Galaxy 2 is even half as cool as the first one, we’re in for a treat, and I highly doubt they’ll settle for that.
