It’s E3 time so video game announcements and reveals are coming at a fast clip. Nintendo had its press conference today delivering a few pretty sweet titles. Sin and Punishment 2 was absent from the conference itself, but there’s a new trailer and an affirmation that the game is coming to the United States in the first quarter of 2010. That’s definitely later than I had expected and hoped, but oh well. The original for the Nintendo 64 was ridiculously awesome. It’s basically a sci-fi on-rails shooter, although your character also has a sword for when enemies get close or for deflecting attacks, with chaotic action. I never managed to figure out much of the crazy anime-style story, but I think there was an alien invasion or something. It doesn’t matter, what counts is that Treasure is back to develop the sequel and the game is perfectly tailored for Wii controls. The original was pretty much begging for them.
