There’s a new trailer out for sci-fi horror flick Pandorum. Two crew members, played by Ben Foster and Dennis Quaid, awake on a long distance space flight to find themselves alone, only to shortly realize that they absolutely are not. Cam Gigandet, Antje Traue and Cung Le co-star. It’s directed by Christian Alvart (Antibodies) from a screenplay by Travis Milloy.
I’m a sucker for at least watching science fiction in all forms, even the mildly trashy horror kind. I might not even like a lot of what I end up watching, but I’m often intrigued enough to check it out. This looks like it could be an interesting rental, since it’s obviously combining a few popular genre tropes into one package. Plus, Ben Foster and Dennis Quaid are typically reliable.
Pandorum is out September 4th.
