The new Dave Matthews Band album, Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, is streaming for free at Pandora ahead of its release next Tuesday. I’ve listened to about half of it thus far and it’s really quite good. I’m totally sold on buying it next week after not really caring much for Stand Up. This one feels a lot like the band’s first three albums without being just a retread. Plus, it suits the incoming summer quite well. It’s definitely a welcome addition from the band, and a very respectable tribute to the late LeRoi Moore.
