Another infrequent filmmaker is returning to the fold with a novel adaptation. This time it’s Jonathan Glazer (Sexy Beast, Birth) directing an adaptation of Under the Skin by Michel Faber. I gather that this one has been in development for a few years now, but it’s targeted for production next year. The novel takes place in Scotland where an alien disguised as an attractive woman is picking up men in order to process them as gourmet food for her species.
