In a weird twist, IMDb briefly posted a modified teaser trailer for District 9 that didn’t blur the alien’s face and included subtitles. Before disappearing, Trailer Addict captured it and I’ve embedded it below. The alien is a really impressive creation. Neill Blomkamp has a serious knack for incorporating special effects into his work, and it appears that District 9 won’t be an exception. District 9 is slated for an August 14th release.
