So apparently that not-officially-released trailer for Thirst wasn’t the final cut. Go figure. Here’s the new and true trailer for the latest from Park Chan-wook (JSA: Joint Security Area, Oldboy, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance). Thirst follows a priest (Song Kang-ho) to Africa where he volunteers himself as a test subject for a cure to a deadly disease. The experiment fails, but turns the priest into a vampire. The film then tracks his blood and sex lusts as they clash with his faith.
Thirst hits South Korea on April 30th and Focus Features will be releasing it domestically sooner or later.
