Batman: Mask of the Phantasm score
La La Land Records is continuing to release scores to various animated Batman projects, this time with an expanded score for Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. It features the compositions of the late Shirley Walker with 27 more minutes than the CD that accompanied the movie’s theatrical release. By my estimates, that should make this one around 61 minutes long. I picked up their last release, a two disc set with 150 minutes from Batman: The Animated Series and was really impressed, so I can’t help but grab this one. This release is limited to 3000 units and will be up for order March 24th at noon PST for $19.98. It also marks the first set in La La Land Records’s new Expanded Archival Editions line.
