The Kids in the Hall
The comedy troupe Kids in the Hall are set to return to television, according to Chortle. Dave Foley tells them that the group is returning courtesy of the Canadian Broadcast Corporation with a new show called Death Comes to Town. Foley explains, “it’ll be an eight-episode arc with a narrative running through it. We will play all the characters but it won’t be sketch, it’ll be a single narrative mini-series.” Think The League of Gentlemen, which he cites as a major influence. It’s unclear whether any old characters will return to play a part or if everything is completely new. The series is set to debut next year on the CBC. I’d hazard a guess and say Comedy Central might take a look at it for US distribution.
